We’ll be able to see probably the greenest part of Slovenia with its hills, valleys, rivers and other generosities given us by Nature. Beside that, we will also be able to enter the world of the inventive locals, join them in their environment. We’ll try some local delicacies and in this way “first hand” learn more about the life of the area.
In Žužemberk we will visit the remains of the old castle that has a tormented history. There are many legends and stories about the castle – I’ll tell you! Brežice is a border town near Croatia. It has a very unique baroque heritage. The nearby Terme Čatež (Čatež SPA) are one of the most known thermal spas in the wider region. The unique repnice in the Bizeljsko region are underground cellars digged into the quartz sand for the purpose of storing goods – a refrigerator of times gone by. In this ambient we’ll enjoy an “underground snack” – nice local cheese. This experience is crowned with the tasting of some outstanding wine, macerated in these specific underground conditions.
After a nice day and a day full of new experiences, we will return back to Ljubljana. Drop off will be at the same location as the pickup.
