A fantastic and untold way to get a feel for Slovenia’s least discovered Eastern part just in one day. Off the beaten track you won’t encounter any queues, just unspoilt rolling green hills and vineyards. In Rogatec and Ptuj you will take a walk back into Slovenian history. The sights of the countryside where people work their land for their everyday bred, will reveal the secrets of a tranquil life.

The settlement of Rogatec is the sight of the biggest open air museum in Slovenia. It is an educative and informative setting to get in touch with Slovenia’s farming traditions. After a pleasant scenic drive we will reach Slovenia’s oldest town, Ptuj. In Ptuj we will visit the amazing museum in the old castle overlooking the medieval city centre and the Drava river. You will have some time to stroll and explore the old town.

We will end our exploratory journey in Maribor, the second largest Slovenian city, where we’ll stop to view the oldest vine in the world which. It is still growing next to the banks of the Drava river.

After a nice day and a day full of new experiences, we will return back to Ljubljana. Drop off will be at the same location as pickup.
