Really good trip to Pirin with very informative guide called Milan. Super day rounding off with gelato on the beach. Took his time and care with our differing agility and would definitely recommend this tour from Ljubljana to see the coast and salt flats. Countryside is spectacular and driving climb is reminiscent of Amalfi. Thanks we will be back, great people very genuine.
Our guide, Milan, gave us a wonderful insight into Slovenian history and the Indigra mine and lace making. Going deep into the mine and the way it is set up gave you a real indication of what life was like for the miners. We also got to culinary experience of Indigra pasta … Delicious. I can highly recommend this half day trip … You will not be disappointed. A great experience.
Awesome guide……best ever and learned so much!!!
Thanks to our guide….loved this trip!
Postojna Cave is really a wonder of nature!
The cave is an amazing wonder of nature. I thought this is just similar to the cave in Halong Bay of Vietnam but this is bigger and indeed the mother of all caves! The Prejama castle is also interesting. Don’t expect treasures nor a lot of furnitures but what’s interesting is the location of the castle and how it was built as part of the cave system. A must-see site in Slovenia.

Very interesting visit to the Mercury mine.
We did a half day trip to visit Idrija which is really the Mercury mine. It is very good with a very informative guide. You spend about 1.5 hours in the underground mine, you get a helmet and overalls to protect you. I would recommend doing this visit although maybe better time management if combined with trip to Postojna caves which aren’t very far from Idrija.

We had a great tour to Idrija with Milan. He told us everything about the region. The visit of the mercury mine was highly interesting and Milan was also able to tell us a lot about the museum in the castle.
Amazing City. Sandra, our tour guide and driver did an excellent job. She was very knowlegable. She did an excellent job of driving under heavy weather and thunderstorm for long hours. Very friendly too. Again, excellent organization by viator. Thanks a lot.
The tour guide is very friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of useful information. Time arrangement is also good and brought us additional surprise too!
Ljubljana day trip.
A day trip from our cruise with Celebrity Cruises. The trip was from Koper a short 90 mins away. The capital was very interesting to go round with our informative guide. The samples of wine and salted chocolate went down a treat. Will have to come back again in the future.

Excellent walking Tour with a great host.
We met Milan, our host , on the morning of the tour at an easy location. It was out of season, but still were they prepared to take us on the walking tour. Milan, a local guide is very proud of his city and took us on a extensive tour of Ljubljana. He loves his city and give us a lot of information, from the past to the present. He answered all our questions and also helped us with extra sightseeing and restaurants. The tour is only 2 hours and is a must for everybody who wants to know a bit of the background of Ljubljana and experience the city.

Good city.
Went here in September this year. A good city to visit, lots to see and do for me personally speaking. Had some local dishes too. Not a city that someone visits but I like to visit cities that are not the “norm” shall we say. I would go again as it is quite a compact place to see.

Ljubljanica Sightseeing River Cruise.
Great value and was relaxing. Perspective of Ljubljana city views and natural surroundings from river was interesting. Wooden boat was comfortable and just glides down the river. It’s a little confusing finding the dock as it is somewhat hidden under bridge, but really a stress-less tour!

Very interesting and very picutresque places
We had a very good guide and he was always ready to explainl every important detail. The walking tour of Piran was interesting. Portoroz is a fantastic sea side resort.
Both places were worth a visit.

Slovenian Adriatic
You can really get a feel for this piece of the Adriatic with even a half day trip from Ljubljana esp if you have a knowledgeable guide.

Nice short trip to get a taste of the coast.
Guide was pleasant and informative. The weather was so hot but was able to go for a swim in the sea on free time so bring a suit if you can!

Simply stunning, what a difference in weather from Ljubljana. Not much in Portoroz except for good Ice cream
Sandra was an excellent guide!
Excellent tour and tour guide. Piran was awesome and our friendly tour guide made sure we were comfortable. Excellent tour operator!!
Nice drive through the countryside.
We travelled a bit out of the tourist season and were the only two passengers on the minibus and our driver Milan gave all his attention to us. Lovely day out and we took the boat to the island and walked back to Bled centre. It was nice to have our guide all to ourselves and been able to ask him loads of questions.

The view from the castle over the lake and up to the mountains, a pletna boat ride to the tiny island, the taste of Cremeschnitte, don’t miss one of them!
We took a tour with Milan at Ljubljana Today, which we booked through Viator. The half-day morning tour was enough time to drive around the lake, visit the island and still eat cream cake! We would loved to have stayed longer, but this was not possible on short time. Milan was a great driver and guide, and was SOOOO informative about the destination and Slovenia in general. Thank you!
Bled, was well over. We were picked up at our hotel and the guide in English the whole ride to Bled told us the history of Slovenia. At the lake we got 3hrs leave, possibly to sail the boat to the island. We have chosen to move around the lake, and this is definitely recommended. The local pastries was quite popular.
Excellent tour”
We booked this tour well in advance knowing it might be cancelled if there were insufficient numbers. No-one else booked but Milan ran a personal tour for us for which we were very grateful. He was extremely knowledgeable about Slovenia and shared that with us on the drive out in his clean, modern air conditioned van. At the lake he drove us around to see the views then left us for 3 hours to do as we chose, which meant not paying for unwanted extras. We chose the pletna boat ride to the island and coffee and cake on return. On the way back to our hotel he gave us good information on what to do for the reainder of our stay in Ljubljana. I would recommend his tour.

FAMOUS DESSERT
We left Portoroz, which is on the west coast, and drove to Lake Bled on the way to Ljubljana. It was raining lightly during the first week in May. Our guide took us to Vila Bled for their famous cream cake and coffee. The portions are very generous so you can share. After the rain subsided we had an opportunity to go outside on the patio to get some pictures of the castle, the island with the church, the boats that take you to the island, and the people with umbrellas waiting for the next boat. It is a picturesque location. We can say we were there. Then it started rising again and we were on our way.

A Day Well Spent.
This is a great half day tour of Bled. Milan the tour guide was excellent and provided good suggestions of how to best use the time at our disposal. You will have ample time to take a stroll through town and take a pletna boat ride to the island in the lake.

Lake Bled and Bled Castle
Great half day trip – there were 4 of us and we had a nice, knowledgeable driver and a great vehicle for the trip. It was drizzling, but the rain stopped just in time for photos of Lake Bled from the ferry. Wonderful. The island is small by scenic and 90 steps to get to the top from the ferry landing. The ferry is man powered like in Venice! The Castle was just ok but with incredible views of the countryside and Lake Bled and the famous church. Worth it to see this famous attraction.
