Small in size, but huge in what it can offer to dear guests. Our Slavic soul on the crossroads of neat German and laid back Mediterranean cultures always knew how to play your strings.

Ljubljana – small in size but great in what the city can offer to its visitor. Actually this is the greatest charm, everything being on a walking distance; history or society, past or present, interesting architecture, squares and bridges, plenty of greenery and a bit of future with its sustainability and green approach towards the life pursuing a zero waste objective.
In 2016 Ljubljana impressed the Jury by the significant transformation in sustainability becoming European Green Capital – judge it yourself!
Let us walk through banks of Ljubljanica River over numerous bridges with distinctive names offering you even more interesting stories behind the architecture: The Dragon Bridge – revealing a Greek legend of Argonauts and Jason stealing the Golden Fleece; The Butchers’ Bridge – decorated by Ancient mythology and Biblical stories, where you can seal your love padlock, leading you into Ljubljana Open Market – a place where locals meet and shop; interesting Triple Bridge – practical solution of Ljubljana born son, architect Plecnik,

Ljubljana day trip
A day trip from our cruise with Celebrity Cruises. The trip was from Koper a short 90 mins away. The capital was very interesting to go round with our informative guide. The samples of wine and salted chocolate went down a treat. Will have to come back again in the future.

Excellent walking Tour with a great host.
We met Milan, our host , on the morning of the tour at an easy location. It was out of season, but still were they prepared to take us on the walking tour. Milan, a local guide is very proud of his city and took us on a extensive tour of Ljubljana. He loves his city and give us a lot of information, from the past to the present. He answered all our questions and also helped us with extra sightseeing and restaurants. The tour is only 2 hours and is a must for everybody who wants to know a bit of the background of Ljubljana and experience the city.

Good city.
Went here in September this year. A good city to visit, lots to see and do for me personally speaking. Had some local dishes too. Not a city that someone visits but I like to visit cities that are not the “norm” shall we say. I would go again as it is quite a compact place to see.
